Reflecting on the past year and looking out on 18th @ my club Jan 26th 2019 in Toronto thinking about the new season to come. I am ready and rejuvenated to start a new golf season.
I am sorry that I have not posted anything new to this blog for over a year. I was golfing last year.I just was not as golf nuts and ‘everything golf’ as I was the previous years. I sort of took a break (a step back), playing once a week or 2 and road cycling once a week. I love the mix of doing both, but my heart and passion is still big time “golf”.
You will see my adventures on golf courses posted on our Facebook page:
Recent Highlights were my university golf buddies me joining me to tour the Robert Trent Jones course, The Trail of Alabama in Late November (will be doing it again, join us) and play pretty well on December 28th at DragonFire near Burlington, ON. A bit wet, but birdied 18th. A great way to finish the year!
I am going to restart posting regularly to this golf blog and feel free to contribute your own stories, experience, questions and words of wisdom.
I look forward to seeing you at the Toronto Golf Show on February 8-10th at the International Centre by the Airport. Its great that they are putting it on my birthday weekend. Maybe I will find a great golf present for myself!
BTW I noticed that there is a Groupon offer today for show entrance.
FYI – We are over the hump of the winter. It gets warmer from hear on!
